Homebred 4 year old (May 2022) jet black gelding out of an OLDENBURG ELITE mare that I owned for 11 years (now retired) and that bred no fewer than 9 premium graded Oldenburg foals before she retired from breeding 4 years ago. He was her last foal which she had at the age of 20yrs. Still own both of his half sisters (can be seen). His sire (who I owned 2019-2025) is now retired from stud and back competing again in BE with Sharon Wollaston Dressage.

He's stabled/handled every day and has been since birth, so incredibly well handled. He has an exceptionally kind and gentle nature. He is a small compact little horse with stunning looks. So he will definitely catch the eye of the judges. Definitely a lady or talented teenage dressage riders horse who craves 1:1 attention. Very Gucci in his type so would suit somebody who likes an extensive and expensive equine wardrobe !

He loves his stable, his rugs, the farrier, people, attention and being admired/pampered. Not a huge eater but is also is a good doer so easy to keep. Very clean in stable, but would also happily live out over summer so long as he has a shelter. I only breed a very small number of dressage foals each year and he is a very fine example so I am looking for the right rider. He's finely built and only 16.1Hh (like his dam) and so would be best suited to a rider that's 5'8" or less in height and under 12st. in weight.

His X-Rays are NOT PERFECT, he has 3 lesions which you are welcome to see. BUT he is 100% sound so our vets advice is DO NOT do surgery on a horse that's been sound since birth! Rather to bring him into work and then deal with it ONLY if it troubles him down the line. So he's well advanced with his backing now, hes been sat on bareback and will be under saddle in the coming 4-6 weeks. He will be sold lightly backed. He has been sound all of his life. The price reflects the massive 40% discount due to imperfections in the X-Rays, that discount is more than the money needed to do the surgery SHOULD it ever need to be done. Today he will NOT pass a 2 stage vetting because of the lesions!!!!

We have invested hugely in breeding this top quality stunning young prospect and I am not desperate for money either. So only genuinely dedicated and passionate people who are appropriately skilled potential long term partners who have the capability to offer him a great future as a young dressage prospect will be considered.
