William is a truly stunning model of a horse, oozing presence and turning heads wherever he goes. This striking young horse has all the attributes to succeed at the very highest level and is undoubtedly a HOYS potential champion.
Professionally broken, William’s natural physique, energy, and expressive paces come effortlessly to him. He has been given excellent foundations, coupled with the intelligence to learn quickly and a calm, relaxed outlook on life—an exceptional combination in a horse of this quality.
At just 4 years old, William shows the maturity of a horse far beyond his years. He is incredibly laid-back, safe, and kind—a true gentleman in every sense. He is unphased by new environments or situations, taking everything in his stride with confidence and boldness. He is not sharp, spooky, or nervous, and has never bucked, reared, bitten, or kicked. William has no Welsh quirks whatsoever. He is genuinely one of the safest and kindest horses you could wish to meet.
William is safe enough for a complete beginner child and has been lightly used in a riding school environment, where he has proven to be exceptionally reliable. He will happily walk along on the lead rein with the smallest of complete beginner riders, be ridden solo off the lead rein by a complete novice holding the handle if required, he responds fantastically to the voice commands enabling the most nervous inexperience riders to walk, trot and canter safely and confidently, William always looks after his riders, automatically slowing down if they become unbalanced or lose a stirrup.
William has participated in our group and private lessons, he loves to jump and is not phased by the scariest of fillers, water jump, cross country courses. He has exceptional paces and moves lightly in your hands with elegance and style, making him a graceful and chic dressage contender.
However due to his outstanding quality, movement, and potential, William would be completely wasted in a riding school setting. He was originally purchased for this purpose, but it is clear he deserves the opportunity to excel in a competitive home. He is a blank canvas with solid foundations and would thrive in dressage, showjumping, working hunter classes, or at the top level in showing—both under saddle and in-hand.
With his attitude, movement, and overall outlook, he has all the attributes to develop into a very smart ridden horse and versatile all-rounder suitable for a range of disciplines.
Never strong, ridden on light contact, snaffle mouth, no gadgets, easy to do, to, perfect confirmation, has a glass like coat in the summer and very little in winter.
William is the epitome of a safe, kind, and genuine horse. With impeccable manners both on the ground and under saddle, he is eager to please and a pleasure to work with. He truly will give his all to his next new owners.
William is incredibly adaptable and would suit a wide range of riders. He is safe enough for a complete beginner with no experience, making him an ideal mother-and-daughter share or a perfect partner for Pony Club and low-level competitions. At the same time, his outstanding quality and potential mean he could equally excel as a top-class contender at the most prestigious events.
Unbelievably safe hacking through the most heaviest traffic imaginable he has recently seen double deckers buses, articulated lorries, motorbikes Push bikes, prams, dogs, farm machinery and he doesn’t look twice. The video provided was the first time we had introduced him to our very busy roads adjacent to the Riding School.
He will happily canter across open fields solo or in a group at the front, middle or back of the ride, he never rushes tries to overtake or goes too fast. He will pull up immediately on command and stand while the rest of the ride canter away from him.
He is truly 1 in a million.
