Ben is a smart, athletic young horse with plenty of scope and a lovely attitude to his work. He was lightly backed as a 4-year-old and quietly produced, gaining some experience eventing up to 80cm.

Since being with me, he has come on nicely and is now confidently jumping around 1m–1.05m tracks. He has been out to British Showjumping clear rounds on tickets, proving genuine and willing, with any poles coming from greenness rather than lack of ability.

He is still green and will benefit from further education on the flat, but he shows a willing attitude and is improving all the time.

He is straightforward to handle – good to shoe, load, and stands happily on the lorry. He does require sedation for clipping.
