Boo - 16.2 warmblood x Knabstrupper Gelding on an AES passport - 16 years
Boo is a much loved 16.2hh warmblood x knapstrupper gelding with the most wonderful, kind and loving nature... very much our overgrown lab!
He is a genuine and honest allrounder who enjoys his work and is a pleasure to have on a yard. Boo loves hacking and is excellent in traffic, happily going alone or in company. Boo schools nicely on the flat and has previously evented, giving him a solid and varied background. Boo also has a big, scopey jump….. he loves to jump!
Boo has a loving gentle character and is great around children.. always loving a fuss and a groom!
While he is safe and sensible to be ridden by a novice, he would be best suited to a competent rider who can get the most out of his ability as he’s got so much to give.
He’s up to date with everything. He’s on an AES passport and has excellent breeding lines. He loads and travels brilliantly in a lorry and whilst he loads with no problems on a forward facing trailer, he doesn’t travel well on one. We haven’t tried him in a rear facing one, this may be fine.
His only vice is a small stable habit of weaving when it’s it breakfast and dinner time. He has a weave grill on his stable for that reason which has put a stop to it.
This is a very genuine, hard to come by horse that will be greatly missed. Boo will make a fantastic partner for someone looking for a kind, experienced and versatile partner.
Looking for a home for life as I don’t want him being passed around, he deserves more than that. Absolutely no dealers.
