Very sadly we are looking for a new home for Pippa, our fabulous 14hh Welsh D chestnut mare. She will be 15 in May. A much loved, safe and easy going mare, she has been a total confidence giver for my daughter.
She has done everything with us and previous homes including: Showjumping up to 80cm, Cross Country, Dressage, Arena Eventing, Showing, Mounted Games, Beach Rides, Pony Club Area Teams in SJ, Arena Eventing and Dressage & PC Camp. PC rallies, clinics, arena hires & XC schooling.
Very easy to do, brilliant away from home, stay away shows and PC camps. She can sometimes be mareish when in season, but she is easily handled by my daughter. She is great to hack alone or in company, safe in open spaces and good with farm machinery and animals.
Very good to catch/clip/load/shoe/bath/dentist (has a bit of sedation for teeth). Lives in or out, currently stabled at night but has lived out 24/7 previously. Can go out with mares or geldings.
She has been a fantastic 2nd pony for my daughter, helping her progress enormously over the past 2 years. She loves to jump but she can be forward to a fence, so she is better suited to a balanced rider rather than a complete novice, she would not be a first pony due to this. She has given my daughter so much fun and confidence, we would love to see her do the same for another little person or smaller adult.
Due to hock arthritis, we feel she would be happiest at a lower-level Pony Club, Riding Club or in a hacking home. No other health issues, arthritis is well managed and happy to discuss. She absolutely loves her job and has so much to give her next little person. She currently is out most weekends enjoying Pony Club life as you can see from the videos.
£4500 ONO, to the very best of homes as she has been a wonderful pony for us and we are very sad to say goodbye.
