Milo (Pigbush Nutcracker) is a well established 13.2hh New Forest gelding.
Before coming to us, he was in a Pony Club home where he attended rallies and went hunting.
He has been part of a busy riding school since 2017, doing everything from complete beginners through to more advanced riders, as well as working with the RDA. He has been handled and ridden by a wide variety of ages and abilities.
Milo is good to handle in all ways and is easy to clip, shoe, bath and manage, both on the yard and at shows. He is great in open spaces and enjoys getting out and about.
He has been out competing, including taking part in British Horse Society competitions at Pickering Grange over the past two years. He has also competed in BUCS competitions in both dressage and showjumping. He is nicely schooled on the flat and established in his work.
Milo hacks regularly and is great on the road. He is happy to go alone or in company and is a regular on group hacks, where he is always very well behaved.
He is used to children handling him in the stable, including nervous riders as well as more excitable and inexperienced ones, and takes it all in his stride.
Recently, Milo has not been going forward in the riding school environment as he once did. However, when a more established rider gets on, he quickly returns to his usual self. We therefore feel he would be much happier in a more one to one home where he can get out more, have a job to do and continue competing.
He is currently barefoot, up to date with teeth and regularly seen by the chiropractor. He has passed annual vettings with no issues.
Milo would suit a knowledgeable and kind home looking for a fun, capable pony with plenty to offers
