Monty is a lovely, registered ISH gelding with excellent breeding, being by Vivant van de Heffinck out of a Chippison (Cavalier Royale x Flagmount Boy) mare. He is a quality, ‘leg in each corner’ type stamp of a horse with the most wonderful, kind nature.

Recently imported from Ireland where he has already experienced a bit of everything. He has basic flatwork established with nice paces and a comfortable, rhythmic canter that is very easy to sit to. He is snaffle mouthed at all times, and is straight, honest, and uncomplicated to a fence, both show jumping and cross country. He also hacks alone and in company. Easy to do in all ways.

He is the ideal summer project for someone wanting a genuine, fun horse with loads of potential as someone’s smart all rounder. With a little TLC and some good spring grass, Monty will bloom with some more condition and be someone's best friend.
