Sadly looking for a new home, due to rider going off to uni.

Bjorn looking for a competent teenager or small adult to have a lot of fun with, and to be his new best friend. Having show jumped the majority of his life, over the last five years he has been enjoying a more varied life and this is something he would like to carry on doing without too much of a focus on competing.

Bjorn is an enthusiastic, forward, and fun ride. As he is getting older (but definitely not looking to slow down any time soon!) he is now most comfortable up to 90/100cm. He is looking for a home that is not going to push him competitively, but allow him to keep doing what he loves. He excels at arena eventing - he qualified for the BE arena eventing championships at BE100 this year. He would thrive being on NSEA arena eventing teams. He has been to (and behaved very well at) Pony Club Camp (res/non-res) multiple times and this is something he would love to do more of in his new home. As he is an older schoolmaster he does know all of the tricks in the book, but is not nasty.

Bjorn is well schooled on the flat. He hacks alone and in company, and he is good with the farrier/dentist/vet etc. He is a full up 148cm (LHC) but rides more like a small horse. He has a lot left to give, and is fit and ready to go. As he is an old man he knows his own mind so is grumpy in the stable, but loves cuddles and will stand all day long to be pampered.

He is not suitable for novice or nervous riders as he is a forward going competition pony.

£5500 ONO including his bridle and turnout rugs, his saddle is available by separate negotiation. Home is more important than price. A lease may be considered to the right home, however a sale would be preferred so we know someone is fully committed to him.
