Newton So There, 2020 16.1hh mare, based Burbage, Marlborough.
- Regularly competed to Novice with scores up to 75%
- Been out XC schooling, showjumping, to the gallops, and hacks alone or in company.
- Isnt spooky, has been in rivers/ through busy towns, and even gone to the pub!
- Has secure simple changes, leg yield and shoulder in, working on half steps, half pass and travers.
- As most mares she tries very hard, a true worker, forwards ride and clever.
- No vices.
- Can do the odd buck up the gallops but is never nasty.
This mare is ideal for anyone wanting a fun horse to be busy with! She;s good to bring back into work or give a few days off but would thrive under consistent work - she;s at a fabulous point where she;s ready to go and do whatever! She’d definitely be a Grand Prix horse, she has a fabulous hind leg, and finds collection super easy (simple changes took a day to teach!) - she enjoys a varied routine with hacking/ a bit of jumping and would equally do well with someone wanting to event.
She’s been out with mares and geldings of all ages, individual and herd turn out. Suki is good for the farrier, and has always had regular physio and her saddles checked every 3 months (tack available seperately). We know all her history having been bought the breeder as a foal. Suki is a very much loved cuddly girl so home is most important. She is a super fun little horse who is safe and seen life but because she is a forwards thinking sensitive mare she will not suit a nervous rider! If you can appreciate a mare or a forwards horse, you’d LOVE her!
Her only hang up is the first season of the year affects her quite strongly, she’s rideable but just generally quite uncomfortable and not her typical workman type personality for 10 days/ 2 weeks. Regimate didn’t ;t affect her - ovaries scanned and all fine too.
