- Reliable 6.5-ton Iveco Daily Horsebox with 2.4 tonne payload
- Low Mileage
- Very Easy to drive
6.5-ton Iveco Daily Horsebox 2.2 payload, low mileage. Off-grid solar-powered for fridge, interior lights, water pump, 240v plug sockets, and induction hob. Packed with power, this wee mighty lorry is 6.5-ton, small and compact, and very easy to drive.
It has one permanent bunk in the Luton and a second pull-out bunk in the living area. It’s an 08 plate but low mileage for its age, 120,846 miles. Our mechanic, who regularly services it, says it was the last of the very good Iveco engines. And if you research, lorry mileage isn’t considered high till you reach 200,000 miles, so plenty of years ahead.
It’s totally off-grid, so you can charge phones, boil kettles, run the fridge, and the induction hob with the engine totally isolated. It’s solar-powered to two very expensive high-grade leisure batteries. You can even plug in a hair dryer and run an air fryer with its pack in an open field!

It’s been a super runner. We’ve done four years of week-long stays south at many Champships. When staying in it for longer periods, we slip off the horse breast bar and convert the horse area to a sun deck to give more living space. An additional bunk can be made in the cab area, which actually is quite comfy too. MOT till Oct.
