Safe young horse with potential to go all the way

Piglet is a 16.2h 4 year old (2022) KWPN dark bay gelding by Florida TN.

I imported Piglet as a 3 year old unbacked colt from the Netherlands. He was allowed time to develop and gelded with me in December 2025.

He is a giant puppy dog who loves nothing more than spending time with people and being brushed/fussed over. I backed Piglet myself over the winter using the TRT method which includes lots of groundwork and have slowly produced him on. He has not been rushed or over worked for his young age. I have lots of videos of this process.

He is safe and kind, no lunging needed before riding. Now he needs time to develop strength and balance as with all young horses.

Piglet is used to machinery and traffic, he isn’t bothered by either. I have taken him to his first arena hire on my own and he didn’t put a foot wrong. Due to his age I am looking for someone who has experience with young horses and has professional help, strictly no novices. As with most young horses he takes his confidence from his rider and can have wobbly moments!

He is good to shoe, worm, load, travel, bath, clip and is happy on the horse walker. Piglet is currently out at night and in during the day but has also been in overnight and doesn’t change. He is happy to be left on his own in the field/stable and isn’t fussed about other horses coming and going.
Piglet has no medical history and is open to any vetting/x rays etc. No vices.

He is up to date with teeth (wolf teeth removed March 2026), physio and vaccinations.
