Clonylon Belle, known at home as Black Betty, is a beautiful 5-year-old Traditional Irish Horse (TIH) mare standing at 16hh. A genuine, quality mare with presence, substance, and natural ability.

She is by the Irish Draught stallion Touch of Emperor out of Lady Sherami, combining strength, bone, and a very trainable, willing attitude.

Black Betty is a straightforward, uncomplicated ride with a kind nature and a sensible brain. She has a lovely way of going and shows real promise over a fence with a brave, honest attitude and plenty of scope for the future.

On the flat she is balanced for her age, with three correct paces. She is still a young horse but takes everything in her stride and is progressing well with consistent work.

Betty is enjoying going out to training shows and arena hires showing wiling and giving 100% of everything she is asked.

She is easy in most day-to-day handling. She can be marish in the stable at times but is growing out of this quickly , so would suit someone confident and experienced with young mares who will manage this appropriately.

Betty is good to clip , loads and travels well and hacks out alone or in company. She has no ridden vices and has a great attitude under saddle.
