Tóchar April is fantastic broodmare, she covers naturally, is easy to get in foal, and has had her two previous foals outside, unassisted.
April is currently in-foal to Connemara Stallion, Killaspic Ross, due mid-end of June. Her breeding speaks for itself, and this combination has previously produced ponies with excellent temperaments and athleticism who are showing promise to excel in any sphere. Her two previous foals, the same way bred, can be seen.
She is good to do in all ways; catch/load/groom/for the farrier. Currently lives out in a small mixed herd but has wintered inside (barn environment) in the past. I have found her to be happy with any environment other than being stabled for long periods of time.
She is used to farm, road and railway traffic, children, dogs and farm animals. Nothing seems to phase her. There is no reason she couldn’t be broken in the future.
April is only available as I am retaining her daughter and need to be sensible and not increase overall numbers.
