Grey gelding, 16’1hh Irish sports horse, 17 yrs old, experienced, clever, safe, talented, amazing friend.

We’ve had Podge for 10 years, in that time he’s taken me through pony club, school team, BE up to novice. Now ready to drop down a gear to low level competition and hacking.

Been successful but most of all had fun and enjoyment as he is a solid horse. Easy to load, shoe, travel. No vices. Loves his job and enjoys a day out. He is calm, gentle, trusting, trustworthy, competent, happy (and used to!) being fussed over. One in a million.

A true allrounder, loves jumping, enjoys hacking out alone or in company. Very well-schooled, as is ridden weekly by a professional dressage rider.

We are looking for someone who is kind, knowledgeable, experienced as he is forward going. Looks after his rider, every ride is a good ride as he is a teammate and friend.

Injury over a year ago, signed fit by vet 6 months ago having completed rehab, has been back to weekly dressage training, regularly jumping and hacking.

£6k with full wardrobe and bridle included, saddles negotiable. We are very sad to sell him, but career commitments mean it’s not possible to give him the time he deserves.
