By the well-known stallion Kilberan Mike, Troy embodies so many of the best qualities you would want in a Connemara. He is a perfect example of Kilberan Mike progeny, known for passing on a kind, sensible, gentlemanlike temperament. His offspring are often described as trainable, easy-doing, friendly, intelligent, and possessing that real “wow factor”, making them excellent versatile prospects.

Troy is exactly that. He has such a gentle soul and an old head on young shoulders. He is very well handled and easy to do in every way: leading in and out of the field, grooming, having his feet trimmed, and loading.
