Homebred, retired from racing sound, just not the job for her. Had good all round foundations of retraining
Betty- 15.2 7yr bay tb mare by Heeraat. ROR Eligible with the ability to be produced on in whatever sphere you chose, or equally be a fun all-rounder for fun rides, hacking and 'best mate' jobs. Responsive but not reactive or sharp, a happy medium of being able to put your leg on but not needing an inhaler after getting her to trot.
She has a lovely soft mouth and is showing some really nice bits of work, she tries hard to please and has started some basic lateral work and understanding of a contact.
She has done some fun rides, arena hire, RC SJ and XC schooling so she is ready to produce on with well rounded foundations out of racing in place. She hacks alone and in company, happy to lead babies out or go behind. Sane in open spaces and will go for a canter (with brakes) or wander along when out and about. Hacked (and schooled) by an 11yr old. Used to a farm environment inc tractors, cows, sheep, quads etc.
She enjoys popping a fence and is genuine with a 'have a go' attitude. She doesn't need riding every day to stay sane, and comes back into work easily after a holiday. Good to catch, lead, load, travel, shoe, bath, for vaccs/dentist. Is sedated lightly to clip as is tickly. Happy out individually or with others.
Is a bit of a 'cat' and pulls faces on the ground until she knows you, once she realises they're not bothering you she gives up and is incredibly loving, she loves an ear rub.
She does weave, more so in a morning if the others go out without her, it lessens as she settles in. Clean legged and no lumps or bumps. Up to date with vaccs/shoeing/worming/dentist and physio.
She was 5 stage vetted Friday with remarks on an over reach she did a month or 2 ago which has healed well, farrier happy and just needs to grow out, and slight pelvis asymmetry which we were already aware of, and had been checked by owner's vet end of last year and given the ok to crack on as she was beginning to do more work.
She is on sales livery. If no answer please leave a message and I'll reply ASAP.
