Riva - 14.1, 17 year old Connemara gelding by Gwennic De Goariva. Old fashioned type of pony with a leg in each corner.

Riva is the ultimate schoolmaster, been there done it got the T-shirt and is ready to go straight out and have some fun with his new jockey.

Riva came over from Ireland in 2022 having done pony club camps, Irish Pony Club Festival showjumping qualifiers & finals (winning the qualifier), ODE’s and even games!

He had lots of experience hunting as a youngster. Has done some low-level working hunter shows and been on beach rides.

Evented & Showjumping unregistered up to 100cm and then SJI registered showjumping up to 1m going double clear almost every time.

Since being here in the UK he’s been having fun hacking, bit of hunting and an ODE so he’s not been overused. He’s super for his age and has plenty of miles left in the tank.

Hacks alone and in company and has been good in the traffic we’ve met and with the farm machinery round here.

He’ll be looking for game kid/small adult to go and have fun, 2.5/3rd pony type. Could suit capable child stepping up off a smaller pony. Takes the leg well so would just as well suit an adult rider that wants a fun little chap to get out and have fun.

Super easy to have around, good to catch, load, shoe, clip, loves a fuss and a groom he’s a very kind pony that just wants to be loved.

Here on sales livery on behalf of his owner, genuine reason for sale. Minor medical history that doesn’t affect him and owner happy to share.
