Shetland x Welsh Pony – Ideal First/Lead Rein & Driving Pony

A genuine, kind-natured 7-year-old Shetland cross Welsh standing at 10.1hh, looking for his next little rider. We have owned him for the last 5 years, and he has been a much-loved and reliable part of the family. Safe and steady on the lead rein, has been driven and is broken to drive, going nicely in harness. Easy to handle in all ways – good to catch, groom, tack up and load, with a friendly and affectionate personality. Has done cubbing, hunting and local shows, proving to be reliable and well-behaved in busy environments.

Hacks out confidently both alone and in company and will happily lead off another horse, making him ideal for family outings or accompanying others. Well-mannered with children and takes everything in his stride, including traffic and general yard activity. A genuine all-rounder who has seen a variety of situations and remains calm, sensible and willing throughout. For sale due to loss of rider, through no fault of his own.
