Fletcher is a 9 year-old 14.2hh full connemara gelding. We bought him as a ridden pony in August 2025 and he passed a 5 stage vetting. However, between November 2025 and April 2026, he had a few bouts of lameness and has been out of work since. I have no way to bring him back into work, so considering the lameness, I'm selling him as a companion/light hacking pony.

Temperament-wise, Fletcher is a classic connemara character. On the ground he can be a bit grumpy. Nothing nasty; he doesn’t bite or kick, but will pull faces. He’s easy to catch, comes to you in the field, good for farrier, dentist, chiro, vet etc. He is excellent to hack in company; he can be a bit nappy on his own, but nothing dangerous. He has been happily living in a small gelding herd.

Fletcher would suit someone who can look past his grumpy faces and see what a sweet boy he truly is. This is going to be a very honest sale and I'm happy to share vet reports from his lameness investigations. I wish I could keep him, but I can't, so I'm just trying to find him a loving home.
