16h Lightweight Irish sports 6yo black mare

A kind and genuine mare, that’s polite and well mannered. Iris was broken in the latter half of her fifth year and her progress in her schooling just shows what a great brain she has, her train ability is second to none.

Iris rides well on the flat, has 3 balanced paces with an expressive step and is also established in her changes. Has just competed in her first prelim scoring over 65% receiving such positive comments and showing real promise for this discipline.

Jumping she is green and weak however, bold brave and honest, unfazed by coloured or rustic fences, water, steps brushes etc. Has been xc schooling with a novice teenage girl proving she will go off any stride and doesn’t hold a grudge if the rider doesn’t find the perfect stride.

Loves to hack and will go for miles on her own or in company, good in traffic and open spaces. Not easily spooked.

Iris is easy to load, travel and doesn’t change when out and about, easy to tack up and get ready at a show on your own etc.

Lives in or out.
