Works well in all 3 paces. Capable of a nice dressage test- I'm not saying she is heading to Grand Prix but for someone to enjoy their local trips out she gives a nice test. Thoroughly enjoys her work, enthusiastic, will offer canter after she’s had her first one, would always need leg to actually back up her offering to go, she wouldn’t just set off. Has popped fences, genuine with this and not spooky, hasn’t done loads but shows a lovely shape.
Hacking
This is what she really enjoys! Hacks alone and in company, great in traffic. Not a spooky type, may have a look around but you can always ask her to walk on by things. Will go first or last and great in open spaces.
On the Ground
Lovely to deal with on the day to day. She is happy to both be stabled and turned out. Has happily lived alone but also been turned out with different horses and ponies.
Good to lead, load, catch, shoe. Good to clip, just needs mild sedation for clipping feathers. Sedation for Dentist.
Phoenix has been out to dressage competitions and previously qualified for Trailblazers Dressage Championships.
Phoenix has been mainly ridden by a teenager (Exams force sale)
Type of Home..
Hacking, dressage, all rounder. Phoenix is looking for a kind rider, she needs firm but fair, too soft she will take the P, try to bully her you would only annoy her. Work with her and she is the most fun! She has fitted tack & rugs available. She is ridden in a smart solution saddle.
Up to Date with Vaccinations, Dentist Farrier,Physio and Worming.
Phoenix has 6 monthly Improvac injections due to being hormonal over 2 years ago. Our Vets have said she wouldn’t always need the Improvac and when she is settled in to a routine could be stopped.
Phoenix could be shown as a Native Cob/Fun Showing classes as she’s a very pretty mare!
