A seriously exciting prospect for the future, Sandlings McQueen (“Steve” to his mates) is now ready for a capable, talented rider to continue his education and fulfil his huge potential as an event horse.

As a youngster, Steve enjoyed a very successful in hand showing career, consistently catching the judge’s eye with his presence, movement, and natural quality. Steve has been produced slowly and carefully due to his size, always being given the time he needed to mature both physically and mentally.

On the flat, Steve has also built an impressive British Dressage record as a young horse, consistently producing competitive and correct tests with scores including 69%+, and over 70% (including Pet Plan Area Festivals score 69.2% and place a joint 9th in the Pre Silver 2025). He’s ready to continue progressing up the levels to produce a smart and eyecatching test.

He has a bold, scopey jumper who spent last summer learning his job show jumping and with his massive ground-covering stride that with a little more experience will see him go onto be a top horse cross country. He is showing all the right signs for a successful future across all three phases.
Steve is a wonderful personality and easy to handle day to day once you know how he likes things done.

He has all the foundations in place and is ready to step up to have a very successful forward journey with him.
