Ringside Flamenco (Coco) - 4 year old Welsh Section B
Exceptionally well bred by Walseker Colorado out of Thistledown Golden Zumba
Liver Chestnut Mare. Currently standing 131cm on the yard (just under 13hands)
Coco is one of the loveliest and most talented young ponies I have had the pleasure of starting. She was broken by me back in October before having a holiday over Christmas and has since been slowly and correctly produced with her future in mind. I bought her directly from her breeder and she had done a few shows inhand with them.
I believe she could be the next top 13hand working hunter pony.
She has attended several different showjumping arena hires and two showjumping shows up to 70cm, being placed every time out. She has also cross country schooled and jumped round my working hunter jumps at home. She is bold, careful, extremely scopey and gives an incredible feel over a fence.
She has beautiful correct and flashy paces and is extremely well schooled and balanced for a baby. She could well excel as a pure dressage pony, although this is not what I am in to! She easily has the looks and movement to be a flat showing pony, the sort that would do both the m&m juniors and the 13h SHP classes. She really does tick every box.
Coco really could excel in any discipline. I would love her to go to a working hunter or showing home but she has all the ability to go pure showjumping too.
Although she is very well behaved for a baby she is a proper little competition pony with a lot of engine and a pingy jump, and is a pony that likes to get on and do a job and take you to a fence. Because of this I will not sell her to a novice or nervous child, unless they have got the set up with an experienced small parent or sibling that will continue her education. She is far too nice to not be carried on the way I have started her, and if I didn’t care where she went I could have sold her 10 times, but I am extremely fussy and I would rather keep her than sell her to the wrong home!
She hacks on very busy roads, is very friendly and loves being clipped. Has traveled in both a 3.5t and large horsebox. She has been ridden on the flat by a tiny but experienced 8 year old but has only ever been jumped by me.
Not Marish at all, you wouldn’t even know when she’s in season.
She can be seen and tried in Surrey
