Looking for a loving new home for Geoffrey

Due to ongoing knee problems (awaiting a knee replacement) and Geoffrey’s owner’s long-term health conditions, we have made the very difficult decision to put our special boy up for sale.

Geoffrey is a 8 year old 15.1hh COB gelding, he's forward going not a ploddy type but sensible.

We have had the privilege of owning him for the last 4 years and have mainly hacked and completed fun rides (beach ride). Although he has done a little bit of everything - He is absolutely bombproof in traffic and excellent on the roads but In new situations he can occasionally become a little strong/excitable, so he would suit a confident rider.

He is good to:
Load
Farrier - barefoot
Bath
Clip (still improving!)
Handle day to day

He is a genuinely sweet, affectionate boy who has come a long way with us and is very loved.

Geoffrey does have sarcoids which have been treated, and we are happy to discuss these openly with genuinely interested people. They are mainly located on the inside of his hind legs and sheath area, with none on the girth, saddle or bridle areas. Ongoing treatment costs are approximately £40 per month.

A loving, knowledgeable home is far more important to us than price, and ideally we would love to stay in touch with his new owners as he means the world to us.
