Clinton - The absolute dream of horses. Would be suitable for a huge variety of homes, due to his impeccable manners & abilities.

He is the sort that everyone wants; kind, genuine, honest, attractive & very capable. By far the nicest horse I have had on my yard, in a long time.

We have owned him since early February & in that time he has easily gained his x6 qualifying scores for BD prelim regionals, making him eligible for two attempts at regional finals & is sold with this qualification. He consistently scores 67 - 69% Now started stepping up to novice level. He has calm, rhymical paces & is usually well received by the judges!

Bred to showjump, with lines including Casall, Cassini, Carolus & Clinton, he is sure to excell; and as he has only been in unaffiliated homes, you can work your way up from British Novice & i have no doubt he will be very successful, as he has plenty of jump. Not bothered by water-trays or fillers, whether you are on a long one, or a short one, he never says no & always tries to leave the poles up. Unfortunately with breeding season upon us, we havn't had time to affiliate him ourselves; but he has competed 90cm & 1m at our unaffiliated shows and is comfortably training round 1.10m & will have no trouble picking up double clears.

We have taken him cross country schooling, where he jumped everything asked, ditches, drops, water & all solid fences. He has also competed at arena eventing & qualified for the BE finals at 90cm, although we didn’t take him to the championships

We believe he would suit a variety of homes, a riding club / pony club superstar, a middle aged ladies dream, a competitive amateur either showjumping or dressage or a teenager coming off ponies. I really don't have a bad word to say about him.

Great in all kinds of traffic, our roads are busy! Good to hack alone or in company, although he can be a little more suspicious of leaves & dragons on his own, but nothing dramatic.

Snaffle mouthed at all times, he is never hot or silly. He can be left for days at a time and will be the same Clinton when you get back on again. Stands and waits his turn at shows/clinics & happy to move away from the others when it's his turn.

Great manners on the ground, loads onto a trailer, 3.5 or 7.5. Easy to catch, load, shoe & clip, with no vices.
