Oscar was purchased directly from his breeder by his current owners and has been carefully and correctly produced from the very beginning. Prior to arriving with us, he had attended cross-country schooling, clinics and arena hires, all ridden by a capable 13-year-old rider, proving himself to be genuine, willing and easy to produce.

Since joining Joanne Shaw Horse Sales, Oscar has continued his education exceptionally well. He has been cross-country schooling and has proved to be incredibly brave and genuine, confidently jumping ditches, trakehners, steps, water, banks and a variety of solid fences. He has shown plenty of scope, a fantastic attitude and always wants to please.

On the flat, Oscar is schooling nicely and is improving all the time. He is a forward-going ride without being strong and is happily ridden in a snaffle bridle.

He is sensible in open spaces, hacks well and is good in traffic, making him an enjoyable pony to ride both at home and away. His honest temperament and trainable attitude suggest he has a very exciting future ahead.

Oscar has all the attributes to excel as a Working Hunter, Showjumper, Event Pony or Pony Club all-rounder. He is a quality young Connemara with the talent, temperament and bravery to progress up the levels with his next rider.
