'RIO' is a handsome 10yo Irish Sports Horse, gelding, 16.1hh
He is a genuinely adorable, intelligent, kind, and affectionate boy, and has plenty of character.
On the ground RIO behaves like a big labrador, adores people, and a fuss, and has great stable manners, easy to catch, shoe, bath, clip etc., and good with dogs.
He is great hacking out on the lanes, or up on the open moors where regularly ridden, good in traffic, and will go out alone or in company -
This boy is a forward going, happy horse.
We have had loads of fun attending camps, fun rides, jump clinics and cross country up to 90cm.
Rio Travels well, and always puts a smile on your face and a pleasure to take out, and polite to lead.
Good to load, he stands quietly on the lorry and behaves impeccably when away from home.
RIO would suit a varied home, with plenty of hacking and turnout. He is a quality horse, best suited to an experienced rider, not a novice ride as he can be a little sensitive, so will appreciate a confident rider who will reassure him.
