Portia is for sale on behalf of her owner and has been a lovely mare to have on the yard.

We have found her to be a sweet, kind and straightforward little horse. She has a super attitude, wants to please, and is the sort that would suit someone wanting a fun, genuine all-rounder.

Portia has been out trail hunting, showjumping, cross-country schooling, hunter trialling and to unaffiliated outings. She has taken it all in her stride and has shown herself to be a really useful, willing type.

She has previously hunted, and we have been told that she is happy around hounds, will go in the field, stands well, and has been sensible getting on and off. She has also popped the hunt jumps and has given her riders some really enjoyable days out.

Out hacking, we have found Portia to be very easy and enjoyable. She is happy alone or in company, walks out well, and has been good with all types of traffic.

On the ground, Portia is a pleasure. She is good to handle, groom, bath, clip, shoe and load, and she is happy living in or out. She is also good to have around other horses. We have had her both in the stable and out in the field with others, and she has been no issue whatsoever.

Portia would suit a competent novice, teenager, small adult or mother-daughter share wanting a kind, genuine little mare to enjoy. She would be a lovely type for hunting, Pony Club, fun rides, low-level competition or just someone wanting a nice all-rounder to do a bit of everything with.

A really sweet little mare who is ready to go on and have fun with her next person, we feel she will slot right into her new family very easily.
