Mr Cob (Bear) is a very special little pony he is amazingly behaved around even very small children he will let them groom him, wash him, paint his toes and stretch his legs. Bear has had a go at everything! He has done showjumping, xc, dressage, children’s meet, fun rides, combined training, Pony club, mounted games and lots of hacking. He can be led off another horse so you can ride and lead with him. Bear was a first ridden pony. He is currently on loan to a small 4 year old on lead rein but he has a pretty decent jump and loves going xc. He is a forward pony he will power walk to keep up with the bigger horses and no leg required when ridden.

Bear is a pony that loves his job!

He is good with novice riders, my son and a friends daughter have learnt to ride on him.

Bear can get very thick hair on his legs and it causes him to get very itchy legs. He has his legs washed every week in head and shoulders shampoo that really helps. It’s also best to clip him out and this needs to be done about every 4 months. Bear isn’t overly keen on loud clipped, I have managed to clip everything but his back legs without him sedated in the past by doing it in little bits.

Ideally we think Bear would be suited to a pc/hunting family that want to go out and have some fun on this speedy little cob.

Only the absolute best home for this one in million pony!

Great in traffic, good to load and travels well. can be left alone in field or stable, good with farrier.
