Blackertor Mustang - Shetland gelding, 9 this year, just over 41”

Ben is a substantial upstanding Shetland who has enjoyed a varied life. He loves to hack and will happily go adventuring for miles, alone or in company. He has enjoyed some pony club, pony club games, dressage and jumping.

He long reins and lunges like clockwork and will teach little ones to safely pop up into canter. Although we haven’t done much lead rein with him, he will clip on happily. Ben with step up a gear or down depending on his jockeys capabilities and has the most phenomenal gallop for the junior classes or potentially even Shetland racing.
