Scotty has been slowly produced and is always ridden in a snaffle. Would make a lovely low level all rounder/hunter type. He is nice and responsive without being sharp or strong, being nicely off the leg as well as voice command, and coming on nicely with lateral and pole work and would produce a nice dressage test.

He has started a little show jumping and has seen all types of fillers and is easy to a fence taking you in without being overly strong. He has been to a couple of unaffiliated show jumping classes proving to be well behaved.

Out hacking he doesn't mind going in front or behind and is just as happy on his own as going in a group. He does not hot up if you were to hack across fields/moors, turn for home or can even let the group gallop ahead and he will stand and wait for you to tell him to go. Regularly ridden out on moors and seen sheep, cows and donkeys. He has seen all types of traffic and is unfazed for his age. Does not need riding everyday, he is the type you can ride once a week and is the same. Stands like a rock at a mounting block or anywhere else for mounting.

On the ground he is great to have around the stable yard. Easy to do ie catch, lead, load, grooming and bathing.

Scotty still has lots to learn so not for a complete beginner/novice as can have a 'oh whats that' moment but you let him have a look and then he will just move onwards. He is an honest, reliable and sweet type ready for someone to put their own stamp on. Would make a nice mother/daughter share, low level all rounder/working hunter.

Up to date with teeth, vaccinations and worming.
