Rocky is a 16.1, 9 year old, OTTB.
We have owned Rocky for around a year and he has always been willing to do whatever is asked and has a lovely temperament. He is quiet to ride and is snaffle mouthed for all phases.
He has been slowly retrained and is showing promise of being a beautiful dressage/showing horse, potential show jumper/Eventer, team chaser, happy hacker - we could see him in most disciplines!
He has 3 flashy paces and is very balanced, easily picking up lateral and more experienced movements - has scored well in a couple dressage shows. He is a brave jumper and isn’t bothered by fillers/water trays etc. His technique over a fence is improving day by day and he is proving to be a careful show jumper. He has jumped 80cm courses out competing and up to 1m at home, with scope to potentially go bigger with time. He has been to two ODEs, going double clear at the second and placing 5th.
He is great to hack, will go out alone or in company. He is good in open spaces, not strong or spooky. Easy to load, shoe, clip, catch etc. No vices or vet history. Although he is quiet and easy the majority of the time, Rocky has not been long out of racing so is still inexperienced in his new lifestyle and therefore is not a complete novice ride.
Overall, he is a real sweetheart, friendly and kind with a big personality.
