12.2hh Welsh Section B Gelding age 15 – Fun All-Rounder / Second Ridden
Sadly, the time has come to find our much-loved Thistle a new home, as my daughter has simply outgrown him. If I could make her stop growing, he wouldn't be going anywhere!
Thistle is a 12.2hh Welsh Section B with a typical Welsh personality – full of character and always keeps you smiling! 😂
He loves his jumping and is currently competing at 60cm showjumping, where he regularly comes home with the rosettes. At home, he has confidently jumped up to 80cm and really enjoys his work. He’s taken my daughter from courses of X Poles to this height. We’ve had him out at XC and done a little dressage test with him.
Because Thistle can occasionally throw in an excitable little buck when he's feeling fresh or enthusiastic, I would describe him as a second ridden rather than a first pony. It's never anything dangerous or malicious, and it's nothing big, but he does need a confident little rider to get the best from him.
He can be turned out in a herd or happy to be by himself
Recently attended his 1st pony club rally with us at XC & BS Club show where he behaved brilliantly an picked up his first points
Will produce a lovely dressage test
Upto date with everything
Can come with or without full wardrobe
Available from beginning of summer after ESUK
Just found out this week qualified for KBIS National Club Junior 60cm Final
