Lochie is a beautiful Irish Draught cross gelding with the most laid-back temperament. Having previously been used for trekking in Ireland, he’s seen plenty and has a wonderfully easy-going outlook on life.

He hacks happily alone or in company and is the same horse wherever you take him. Traffic, open spaces and life in general don’t seem to trouble him.

Schooling-wise, Lochie is still green as he hasn’t done a great deal previously, but he tries his heart out and is improving all the time. He is more “whoa” than “go” I’m sure this will come with more schooling but he is never going to be a speed horse!

He has popped around small XC fences, happily canters through open fields in a snaffle and takes everything in his stride. He has the sort of temperament that would suit hunting, riding club activities, pleasure rides, police/army type work or simply being someone’s best friend.

Lochie is an old head on young shoulders. A proper armchair ride with a lovely nature and a hard-to-find attitude.

Plenty of bone, a beautiful stamp and an absolute gentleman to have around. 
He’d be happy hacking round the country side or if someone wants to continue his schooling they will make a lovely riding club Allrounder from him in no time.

The sort that may not set your stopwatch on fire, but he’ll quietly steal your heart.
