Foxy is a striking 16.1hh, 5 year old Chocolate Dun Connemara x Irish Sport Horse, for sale through no fault of his own. He would be ideally suited to a mother and daughter share, confident teenager or adult looking for a genuine, quality all-rounder.

I imported Foxy from Ireland in August 2024 as an unbacked youngster and have produced him myself. He has been an absolute pleasure from the very beginning and has made the whole process so enjoyable. He has taken everything in his stride with a willing attitude and kind nature, making him one of the easiest young horses I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

Foxy is good to clip, shoe, load and travel in both a lorry and trailer. He hacks confidently alone or in company, lives happily in or out with mares or geldings, and is equally content to be first or last in from the field. He has a fantastic temperament and is straightforward to handle in every way.

Since backing him, Foxy has been cross-country schooled, show jumped, competed in dressage, hunted and has county level showing experience. He has proved himself to be a genuine, versatile horse with a trainable attitude and always tries his best. He has all the attributes to excel in whichever discipline his new owner chooses.

This is a very difficult sale, and I would love to see him go to a home where he can continue to fulfil his potential and be enjoyed as much as I have enjoyed producing him. He has a bright future ahead of him and will make a fantastic partner for the right person.
