The perfect starter BD Youth pony

Pebbles is a 12.2hh (127cm) Part-Bred Section B Welsh pony (green passport). 11 years old. He has been in the same home for over 3 years and taken his young rider on an incredible journey, from newly cantering to elementary level. He is the perfect starter pony for someone on their dressage journey - he has taken his current rider from her first dressage competition to Pony Club Camp, Areas, Pony Club Championships, first stay-away shows, BD Camps, ICC and Inter-Regionals, to winning the BD South and West Inter-County D Squad Championships in 2026. Pebbles is safe, supple and judges love him.

He has numerous 70+% scores at Prelim/Novice, with established Elementary moves at home.

Has been to Inter-Regionals 4 times with two different riders, placed every time, with several top 5 places and team placing.

Won Pony Club Area Dressage at PC70 & PC80 Grassroots with a 7 year old, 3 months into owning, and went on to come 6th in PC80 at the Spring Festival.

He loves a show and brings out his absolute best self when competing. He is slightly on the slower side, which makes him a great confidence building pony. He is good at jumping and cross country and enjoys it. Not done a lot of jumping recently as current jockey prefers flat work, but has show jumped with her up to 70cm (videos available) and cross-country up to 50cm - however can definitely go higher. He’d actually quite enjoy going to a home who will also jump him as he does love it.

Easy to shoe, clip, handle, travel. He is a very safe set of hooves and looks after his rider, we happily let her hack him alone.

Very sad sale of a much loved pony. You cannot fault him, he is an absolute unicorn.
