Beautiful 16.1hh 17yo Retrained Thoroughbred – Ideal Hacking & Light Leisure Horse

Description:

Looking for a 5* home for Troy, a 16.1hh, 17 year old bay gelding. A kind, genuine horse with a lovely temperament.

He has been retired from racing for several years and has been thoroughly enjoying life as a leisure horse.

Troy is good to hack both alone and in company, however will need someone more confident. He is also excellent in traffic. He is happy to do light work in the menage but due to his age and past career, he is not suited for regular jumping and a competitive career. He has experience hacking, schooling, and low level jumping up to 1metre. He also enjoys arena hires(especially cross country).

He is an absolute pleasure to handle on the ground, good for the vet, farrier, and to load/travel. Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, and worming.

Ideal Home:

We have come to the very difficult decision to sell troy which is absolutely heartbreaking as he has been the best horse we could’ve wished to own for nearly 5 years. Ideally, he would suit a confident teenager or adult who would be interested in clinics, arena hires, hacking, schooling and pleasure riding.
