Margot - Westside Bella Vista
A quality 3-year-old Pure Irish Draught filly by Aye Aye Skipper out of Silverdale Lady, with sought-after Class 1 breeding.
King of diamonds line.
Her pedigree combines some of the most respected traditional Irish Draught bloodlines, renowned for producing horses with substance, athleticism and the ability to excel across a variety of disciplines.
Currently standing at 164 cm, she still has plenty of filling out to do and is maturing into a substantial Irish Draught mare.
I bought her directly from the stud where she was bred, and she is currently turned away there to continue maturing before being ready to be backed. I have given her the best possible start. She has completed all of her groundwork and is now enjoying time to develop at her own pace.
She has been shown in-hand and has been placed every time. She hacks confidently in-hand on the roads, happy to go first or last, and has taken everything in her stride. She has visited Aintree Arena Hire, completed farm rides like Kelsall hill in hand, desentization classes where nothing has fazed her at all.
I believe she has all the qualities to make an exceptional hunting mare, but she also has the potential to excel as a quality all-rounder.
She does have a small splint on her front near fore, which has never affected her or caused any issues and i do think it will flatten over time.
She has lived both in and out but is happiest living out. She is currently turned away in a mixed herd with mares and geldings.
This is a very difficult decision and only due to me breaking my back at work earlier this year. I had planned to back and produce her myself, but I cannot justify taking the risk with such a young, powerful mare during my recovery. She deserves the opportunity to fulfil her potential with someone who can continue her education.
