Penny is a really sweet 6 yo mare by Furst Jazz. She has been owned/backed/trained by myself since 3yo as well as being competed by my 16 year old apprentice in her 4 year old year to give her experience riding young horses. As a combination they were placed 7th at the Addington nationals.

Penny has a super competitive record with scores up to 76% at Novice level. Often gaining 8’s for her walk! This last year we have taken more time to focus on training the advanced work which she has taken to so easily. Working on single and tempi changes as well as canter pirouettes and half steps. She’s a forwards going mare when schooling but equally can be ridden bare back to the fields!

She enjoys hacking and will go alone or nanny others out round the woods. She can live out or in and enjoys her turnout, can be next to geldings no problem and has been in with other mares too. She’s super to do on every way , traveling, farrier, vet (no history), physio etc. Open to viewings / vettings and having chats with any of the professions above. She has clean X-rays from when I bought her as a 3 year old as well as X-rays taken at the end of last year before aiming her to the market. Never sick or sorry. 

For sale only because I need to down size but she’s incredibly easy to keep so will continue her training until she finds her perfect home. She will be a super exciting advanced horse for someone as she strengthens up but equally she will be a cuddly best friend to you also as she loves any attention that comes her way!
