Strawberry – 16.1hh - 4 Year old - Thoroughbred - Mare
Strawberry is a lovely 16.1hh, 4-year-old Thoroughbred mare with a kind temperament and all the attributes to make a fantastic all-rounder. Having been in consistent work with us for the past month, she has shown tremendous potential and is proving to be a very exciting young horse for the future.
She hacks out confidently both alone and in company. When hacking on her own she can occasionally have a look at new things, as expected for her age, but she is never dangerous, strong or silly, even in open spaces.
On the flat, Strawberry is working well in all three paces. She is developing a soft, correct contact and, while still gaining consistency, she is improving rapidly and has a willing attitude towards her work.
She has recently started jumping and has taken to it brilliantly. She is straightforward, honest, and never questions a fence, making her an exciting prospect for someone looking to produce a young horse.
On the ground, Strawberry is a pleasure to handle. She is easy to catch, enjoys living out in a mixed herd, and is well-mannered in all aspects of her daily care. She is shod on her front feet only and stands well for the farrier.
A genuine young mare with a lovely temperament, a fantastic attitude to work, and plenty of untapped potential. Strawberry would suit someone looking for a quality young horse to continue producing.
