Fleur is looking for a loving, low-pressure forever home where she can enjoy life at a slower pace.
We have owned Fleur since she was a yearling, so she has a full, known history. She has successfully competed up to 1.30m British Showjumping, but she has reached a stage where she no longer enjoys that lifestyle. Because of this, we are seeking a home that will allow her to relax and thrive, rather than one focused on competitive showjumping.
Fleur has a few quirks, so please read carefully
She is a headshaker, which can make her a little tense at times, although it does not affect her ridden work.
She had a couple of small sarcoids as a youngster, which were successfully banded and have never returned.
She is a lovely mare with so much to offer
Enjoys living out and is a very good doer, happily living off fresh air.
Not suitable for a novice rider, as she is responsive off the leg and soft in the contact.
Good to shoe and load.
Hacks happily alone or in company.
Loves attention and enjoys being fussed over.
We feel Fleur would make a fantastic low-level dressage horse, happy hacker, or all-round leisure horse for someone looking for a talented mare to enjoy without the pressure of jumping.
We have lots of photos and videos from throughout her life and competition career. Sadly, with children, other horses, and work commitments, we can no longer give her the calm, relaxed lifestyle she truly deserves.
