I will probably regret writing this but you can’t keep them all! I’ve had Gloria for nearly a year now and she has just been a delight to have around, the easiest horse to do that I’ve ever owned. Apologies I haven’t got round to getting better pictures yet!

Gloria has showjumped up to fox (1.20) with more in the tank! We recently went to Hickstead where she really came into her own on the grass, she even did the 1.10 derby with no problems at all. She will pretty much turn her hoof to anything, hunting, hacking, XC, dressage there really isn’t anything she won’t give a go. I will put non horsey people on her to go hacking and she will go in open fields on the buckle with no problems. She has had my little cousins on her teaching them to ride (7 years old). She also brought my love and confidence back for jumping since I lost it with my other horse so I am forever grateful for that.

She is a proper leg in each corner type who is never sick or sorry, she is a beautiful dark red Chesnut (always complimented on her colour everywhere I go). Good to shoe, load, clip, vets etc…

Her only vice is she can have a buck, it’s not a buck that’s going to get you off if you can ride but it’s there. She has only done it with me when jumping and it’s normally when I get the stride wrong (I don’t blame her for telling me off). Shes a sensitive soul in that front but she is always going, never ever stops at a jump. I have had her fully checked and it isn’t pain related! I always say you could take her into a 1.40 she may not go clear but she will give it a bloody good go! You can’t get a better brain than that.

I really can’t sing this horses praises enough, she is the sweetest on the ground and is always looking for a cuddle. She will only go to the best of homes as I genuinely do love her so will be picky, she needs someone who is going to love her as I do.
