A heartbreaking sale of a much-loved pony, so finding the right home is my absolute priority.
Tango is a quality registered Welsh Section B with lovely breeding, a kind temperament on the ground and all the potential to make a fantastic showjumping or Pony Club pony. He was backed around 2/3 months ago, so he is still green and looking for someone to continue his education.
He hacks confidently alone and in company, is good in traffic and enjoys getting out and about. He has been to arena hire and a show, where he behaved very well and took the atmosphere in his stride. Tango is brave and willing over a fence, currently jumping around 70cm with ease and showing plenty of scope to progress further.
On the ground, Tango is a kind and genuine pony to have around. He is good to groom, tack up and handle, good for the farrier, and travels well. He has no stable vices and has never kicked or bitten.
As he is still young and green, Tango can occasionally be a little nervous and will look to his rider for confidence and reassurance. Catching and loading are still works in progress, but he is improving steadily with calm, consistent handling.
For this reason, he is not a novice ride and would be best suited to a confident teenager or small adult who enjoys producing young ponies and wants one to bring on for showjumping, Pony Club or all-round fun.
This is a very sad sale, and his home is far more important than the price. I would love him to find a knowledgeable, loving forever home where he can continue to grow in confidence and reach his full potential.
