Joey – 11hh 4-Year-Old New Forest Pony
Joey is a beautiful 11hh, 4-year-old New Forest pony with a kind, willing temperament. He would make an excellent first pony for a child looking for a sensible, fun partner.
He learns quickly and always tries to please. Joey hacks confidently alone, in company, and on the lead rein, and has been out through open fields, forests, and streams without fuss. He is happy to be bathed and is easy to handle in every way.
Joey enjoys jumping and is happy to jump a full course, as well as cross-country fences, ditches, steps, and other natural obstacles. He also works well in the arena and, with his excellent conformation, lovely movement, and long, healthy mane, would make a lovely showing prospect.
He has had plenty of desensitising work and is unfazed by umbrellas, bouncy balls, hula hoops, pool noodles, ribbons, and similar exercises, always remaining calm and willing.
Joey is a pleasure on the yard. He is happy to stand in the stable, can be turned out alone or in company, ties up well, and is good to catch, groom, tack up, and handle. He is also good for the farrier and vet.
He loads and travels well in a lorry and stays calm in new places, making him easy to take out and about.
Joey is gelded, passported, fully vaccinated, and up to date with dentistry and worming. He has no known vices and is ready for a loving new home.
This is a very sad sale of a much-loved pony, and only the very best home will be considered.
