George is a real life black beauty. A very quality Irish sports pony, with an exceptional temperament and attitude to his work. He is a genuine unspoilt young pony who could go down any route.
George loves to hack out, he goes out alone or in company. Has been on the beach where he behaved impeccably, and goes on farm rides.
He has been placed at unaffiliated dressage competitions, scoring great marks and receiving promising comments from the judges especially for his lovely correct paces. I do think he could go up the ranks in dressage. He really enjoys his work and is responsive to aids.
He has been cross country schooled multiple times, proving to be very bold brave, he goes straight through water, up and down steps, hedges etc. He would make a fabulous event pony.
George has competed unaffiliated show jumping and done training shows. He has a lovely technique over a fence. He is still green with his show jumping but is improving the more he does.
George really has the most incredible temperament and always wants to please. Stands quietly to wash, groom, tack up. Loads and travels very well and will stand alone on the lorry. He happily lives in or out, and is a total pleasure to have on the yard. You don’t notice he’s there, he’s quiet and polite natured.
George is a forward going pony, but doesn’t get hot or silly. He is still green due to his age but he has no malice in him whatsoever. Just needs more miles on the clock. He wouldn’t suit a wobbly or nervous rider. He really is an exciting young pony for a confident child or small adult to produce further. I think he would make a fantastic event pony, dressage, show jumper, endurance or even a pony racer.
He is up to date with vaccinations, dentist, farrier (shod in front). Passed 5 stage vetting on purchase, open to any re inspection. 5* home required for this very special and kind natured pony, a very sad sale he is much loved by his family.
