Alf has three fantastic paces and is established at medium level, making an excellent schoolmaster. He gives a super feel and is beautifully schooled. He is never silly and you can get straight on after a few days off and he will be just as you have left him.

He is kind, genuine and an absolute gentleman to deal with on the ground. Good to clip, catch, travel and for the farrier. Great to hack in company but would rather not be alone.

Alf has enjoyed a successful competition career, but we feel he would now be happiest in a home where the focus is on enjoying him rather than regular competition. While he is a willing and enthusiastic horse at home and in lessons, he no longer seems to enjoy the competition environment when out regularly.

Sold on behalf of client. This is a very sad and genuine sale as his owner has stopped riding so finding him the perfect home is a priority.
