Backed at the end of last year and turned away, Leo has now been lightly produced at a professional yard and is ready to find his new home.

He is a big moving boy with flatwork basics established and lovely balanced paces that show huge promise for the future. He is light in the hand while being very responsive to the aids and has a lovely rhythmical canter. He is keen to learn and enjoys his schooling with a positive attitude to work and has proven to be a safe, uncomplicated ride. He is also happily popping small fences, hacking out in company and a little on his own. He is good to handle on the ground, just a bit wriggly and what you would expect of a typical youngster. Good to catch, trim etc. Fully vaccinated and teeth up to date.

14.2hh with a big frame still to fill, Leo moves beautifully and is straight and correct. He is now ready for his next human to continue his education and has an exciting future as a competitive all rounder, dressage pony or for flat / whp m and m classes. Leo was bought as a shared project but unfortunately recent surgery has meant plans have had to change.

Leo has had a sticky stifle in one back leg which only became evident during backing, this causes him no issues now and has improved as he does more and gets stronger. He also slightly rubbed the very base of his mane and a small spot on his tail at the start of the season but this stopped as soon as he was given a fly rug. As a result he is available at a slightly reduced price, please don’t ask for further information if these are things that bother you, it is highly unlikely they would be noticed on viewing but are declared.
