Bay Mare, 14h, 9 yrs All rounder/PC/BS/Event Pony
Mai is a stunning mare who would suit anyone looking for a genuine all rounder pony with the talent to move up to the next level in her career, she is a quality pony which will try her hardest for you. She would suit a young experienced and confident rider who wants to move up to the next level or a small confident adult. She has ability, scope and technique to go on to jump bigger tracks with the right rider. She would also make a great mother/daughter share.
Mai has been with us for the last 2 years and has been an absolute pleasure to have around. She is a kind and intelligent mare with excellent manners and willing nature. Her 14 year old jockey has done show jumping, dressage, variety of pony club activities and shows which she has regularly placed in and numerous arena hires and outings with her. She has had regular training sessions with a professional trainer and has taken her rider from jumping 60/70 courses to doing 90/1m tracks and jumping 1m/1.10 at home, and is constantly placing in shows. She has great technique and enormous scope over the jump and is forward going without being too strong. She responds well to the rider’s aids, works beautifully on flat and is very responsive.
She is truly fun and competitive ride and would do great for a rider looking to enjoy riding club activities, jumping, hacking and all-round fun.
She hacks well alone or in company, loads and travels quietly in either trailer or a lorry. She is good for farrier, clipping, dentist (has been done with no sedation) and physio (she has had regular physio sessions done). She’s up to date with vaccinations, dentistry and routing care.
She is currently turned out in a mixed herd, out during the day and stabled at night.
Very sad sale due to her rider outgrowing her and looking to move to horses. Only the most special of homes for this fantastic pony where she can be loved, enjoyed and well looked after.
Comes with all her tack and wardrobe (several Lemieux saddlepads and matching flyhoods, jumping boots and rugs).
