Eddie is only for sale due to me not having the time anymore.

Eddie truly is the most lovable and friendly horse to have around. His temperament can only be described as the same as a Labrador. He is a firm favourite anywhere he goes and has the looks to match his personality.

He is willing to turn his foot to anything and try his best although he can still be green, he is very low mileage and has been to a handful of shows with me including his first dressage competition where he qualified for a regional championship with 66.88%. He has also competed unaffiliated showjumping up to 1m and xc schooled a handful of times.

Eddie can be a tricky ride sometimes, needing someone strong and capable to help him out when he goes green. He is never mean or malicious (I have let 6 year olds ride him) just simply learning. He is ridden day to day in a Pelham but has also been ridden in snaffles when schooling. To jump he needs someone that is able to hold him when he’s being strong and be able to give him confidence whilst going around a course.

Eddie has so much scope and huge amounts of potential with the right person but we are looking for someone willing to put in the work to get him there. I have worked incredibly hard over the past nearly 2 years but there is still a lot for him to learn. He will make a great allrounder and has shown such willingness at everything we’ve tried him at.

He is great out hacking alone or in company, for the farrier and vet, thoroughly enjoys being clipped and being bathed! He is currently turned out with our mare but is happy turned out in groups, solo, with mares or with geldings. He loads onto anything we usually travel him on 4.5T or a trailer but he has travelled in 7.5T Lorry’s before without a problem!
