Lovely chunky reliable weight carrier sort, he would be a yard favourite in a riding school, suitable for all abilities.
Don’t be put off by his age, he is 4 going on 15, a fantastic brain, doesn’t need riding every day, not hot or silly, hacks out, schools sweetly learning to take the contact, knows his canter leads.
Obviously he is not the finished article in terms of flatwork, but for a four year old he’s pretty made! He’s well balanced, snaffle mouthed, a nice responsive but safe ride, unfazed by a wobbly or nervous rider, he just takes everything asked of him into his stride.
Hacks alone and in company, you can open gates on him, stands quietly for a pint at the pub,will walk on the buckle or pick up for a steady canter across the fields with no dramas or excitement.
Xc and sj schooled, super brave and genuine he will come time and time again on a bad stride and takes no offence.
He has hunted and be behaved exceptionally well, stood at the meet, snaffled mouthed, waits his turn and a very mannerly ride.
And to top it all off he is a total pet on the ground, loves people and a fuss, the type to follow you around the stable or fields to be involved in whatever you’re up to.
A sort really hard found, worth his weight in gold.
